Every month, we gather to ask the universe for support and to harness the power of the New Moon to nurture and bring our wishes to life. We know that we cannot manifest our wishes alone. We take the necessary steps, but we must trust that our desires are in harmony with our spirit and the greater whole.

This ceremony was first received by Anyu’s shamanic teacher, Vamarie Nanej, around 40 years ago. Since then, it has been practiced globally – in the USA, Mexico, Austria, and Germany – with every New Moon. By connecting with these circles, we don’t just draw on the strength of our group but also the collective energy of all New Moon ceremonies around the world.

The ceremony is open to everyone, friends or anyone interested are very welcome. It runs on a donation basis, and the contributions are used to support a social project each year, often in Mexico.

Since Anyu’s move to the Allgäu, Indira now holds the Conception Prayer Ceremony in Berlin.

How to Create Your Prayer:
Find a quiet place, take some time for yourself, and enter a meditative state. Start by reflecting on what you are grateful for in your life and write those things down.

Next, ask yourself what truly matters to you and which wishes you would like to manifest within the next 12 months. Write these wishes below your gratitude list. Then, review your wishes carefully to ensure they truly reflect what you want. Make sure to phrase them positively. It can also be helpful to include why each wish is important to you. Don’t forget to add a date at the top.

Your Donations

The proceeds from 2022-2024 were donated to the women’s and girls’ project K'inal Antsetik in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico. This project provides women from various Maya ethnic groups with training in sewing and weaving, enabling them to earn their own income and advocate for their rights. Indigenous girls can also live there to avoid forced marriages and continue their education. The NGO’s work extends to health education and awareness programs as well.
