During this ceremonial process, the ritual is accompanied by Umay and the sounds of the gong, crystal singing bowls, and Tibetan bowls throughout. The intention behind your tattoo flows into the sound waves of the gong with each stroke of the needle. The ink absorbs the information carried by the sound waves and amplifies the symbol’s energy deep within you, allowing it to resonate, heal, and work within.

The gong sounds help guide you into a light trance state, connecting you to everything around you and allowing you to feel and see more intensely. This state enhances your focus on your intention, makes you forget linear time, and significantly reduces the sensation of the tattooing process.
